After School Program

Dear Families,

In proud partnership with 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC), we are happy to announce that our grant has been renewed for another five years! The Commonpoint Queens after school program at PS 206 is excited to return for the 2023-2024 school year! Welcome to our community!

21st CCLC strives to improve the quality of life of New Yorkers by collaborating with local organizations and investing in the talents and assets of our communities to help them develop, grow and thrive. Through the use of activity-oriented programs, our mission is to help children grow and develop as positive, capable individuals while learning important interpersonal skills, social responsibilities and values in a supportive group environment. Commonpoint Queens after school programs aim to provide quality programming by offering an array of fun activities in STEM, fitness, and the arts, homework assistance, and small classroom ratios, to ensure each child feels supported and cared for.

The health and safety of your children is our top priority. Our afterschool programs are licensed through the Department of Health and we follow and maintain all guidelines and requirements set forth by DOH and 21st CCLC regulations. Under our SACC license, we can service 160 students in grades K through 5 only. Please note due to space limitations, enrollment in the program is by lottery selection.
